Overcombe House participates in the ‘Walkers Welcome’ and ‘Cyclists Welcome’ schemes and has been awarded Mobility 1 and 2 under the National Accessibility Scheme, all of which are administered by VisitBritain.
This friendly guest house was built as a school house in 1875. It has been converted to comfortable, homely accommodation with beautiful original features.
The building’s historic structure has been carefully preserved, including the 130-year-old exposed wooden beams. All light and airy rooms have been newly decorated, with art on the walls, king-size beds and designer Egyptian cotton bed linen.
The Old School Guesthouse is surrounded by Dartmoor National Park, and is a 10-minute drive from Tavistock. Plymouth and Plymouth Airport are 15 minutes away.
